Lisbon Awards Group announces Prémio Autarquia do Ano
The Lisbon Awards Group is pleased to announce its latest initiative - the Prémio Autarquia do Ano that will be held on December 19th. Prémio Autarquia do Ano is a registered brand of the Lisbon Awards Group - a Portuguese startup that is leader in organizing its own corporate events and conferences in a wide range of sectors.
The Prémio Autarquia do Ano was born with the aim of honoring the municipalities and city parishes that stand out, in the most different areas, for their innovative practices and strict management of the public interest.
The Prémio Autarquia do Ano will be constituted by personalities from civil society, distinguished by their civic, academic and professional background. This initiative does not have any political or partisan connotation, so the responsibility of evaluation the projects is exclusively to these jury.
We are very honored to have the following confirmed juries:
- Alberto Jorge Teixeira - National Director of ANJE
- Eduardo Correia - CEO at Taguspark and University Professor at INDEG-ISCTE
- Francisco Proença de Carvalho - Partner at Uría Menéndez - Proença de Carvalho
- Miguel Ribeiro Ferreira - CEO of Fonte Viva
- Pedro Pimentel - the General Manager of Centromarca (Portuguese Association of Branded Products Companies)
Sandra Alvarez Baptista - Managing Director at PHD Media
In the Prémio Autarquia do Ano, only one Municipality and one Parish can be awarded in each one of the subcategories and win the title of Autarchy of the Year. The categories and subcategories reflect the main areas of activation of local authorities.
The registrations for this unique event are already opened and will end on September 20th. The City Councils or Parish Boards that make their registrations until July 12th will have a 20% discount.
The winners will be known in a public event with a date and place yet to be announced and will receive not only a trophy, but also the possibility of using the "Autarchy of the Year Award" of its subcategory in all its own communication materials.
